We have now had our official start for the 2008 Fair - our 150th.
The Annual Meeting was held on Wednesday, January 18/08 - and we
have a new executive, with several young people.

The North Lanark Agricultural Society wishes each and everyone our sincere Season's Greeting.
The fair grounds may be closed for the season, but many volunteers are working behind the scene planning our 150th
Almonte Fair. Negotiations are underway for the Saturday night Grandstand Show, and a contract is being finalized for the
Demolition Derby on Friday Evening. Old fashioned children's games are being planned for Saturday afternoon.

Special Items for 2008 Almonte Fair
CHARITY CARING TREE 2008
Each year different organizations in the community will be the benefactors
of a Charity Caring Tree set up by the NLAS in the Agricultural
Hall at Fair time.
Members of the community will have an opportunity to bring in requested
items at the time of the Fair and then, after the Fair, these items
will be delivered by the NLAS to the specified benefactors.
COMMUNITY DISPLAYS
New class for any organizations (limited space so to reserve space
apply to office at 613 256-1819 or fax 613 257-5051).
Garage Sale
When: May 10, 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
Where: Agricultural Hall
Details: Tables available to rent at $15.00 each.

Payment must be made before setting up on May 10th.
