To encourage interest, promote improvements in and advance the standards of agriculture, domestic industry and rural life,

To organize and hold agricultural and horticultural exhibitions and award premiums and exhibit displays of farm products,

To enhance the grounds and buildings in order to provide recreational facilities for the community as a whole.
